Different Tpye of the Circular Knitting Machine

Different Tpye of the Circular Knitting Machine
February 03 , 2023

Circular Knitting Machine: In this device, needles are implanted in a cylinder, and when in use, the stitches linking the needles create a seamless tube of fabric.

Double jersey machinesDouble jersey machines have needle sets on both the dial and the cylinder. Double jersey machines don't have sinkers. The needles on the cylinder and the dial are positioned opposite each other and alternately in interlock double jersey machines. Instead of using just one type of latch needle, as is typically the case with circular knitting machines, interlock machines use two types.

The fabric is twice as thick as single jersey thanks to this dual needle configuration and is referred to as double jersey.

Rib Double Knitting Machine: In this device, two sets of needles are positioned at right angles to one another, one on the cylinder and one on the dial.

The dial is horizontal and the cylinder is vertical, creating a right angle between the two sets of needles, which causes the needle on the cylinder to move vertically and the needle on the dial to move horizontally.

The rib pattern is created by these two distinct actions, and it can be identified by comparing the face and back loops as they progress toward the coarse one after the other. However, all of a wale's loops are identical.

Single Jersey Machine: Contrary to double jersey machines, single jersey machines only have one cylinder on which to install a single pair of needles and sinkers.

This cylinder's diameter is typically around 30 inches, though it might change depending on the machine's design and needs.

The fabric produced by a single jersey machine is referred to as "single jersey fabric"; it is thinner than double jersey fabric by almost half.

This fabric's front and back sides clearly differ from one another.

Three Thread Fleece Machine: Three-wire weft lining, which belongs to a single-sided machine, can be woven with different weights by changing the raw material yarn count or using different specifications of needles. Then brushed, it can become flannel.

Terry Single Jersey Machine: Terry fabrics are made using the "Plush Knitting Technique" on a Terry circular knitting machine.

The ground fabric and pile threads are worked together to create a stable structure in this technique, where one set of sinker loops is made longer than the ground fabric sinker loops. This longer set of sinker loops creates a pile that resembles velvet on the fabric.

Auto Striper Single Jersey Machine: The yarn is fed into the circular knitting machine using an automatic yarn feeder that is programmable, meaning it may be set up in advance to feed the yarns in a certain order to create the desired fabric.

This machine's speed is significantly higher than that of the other circular knitting machine

Jacquard Single Jersey Machine: These Jacquard Single Jersey Machines resemble standard knitting machines and feature an actuator that helps with the movement of needles via a computerized needle selection system.
